Kurzbiographie


Gottfried Binder *1979 im Banat (Rumänien), studierte nach dem Abitur 2000 und darauffolgendem Aufenthalt in London, Philosophie/Kunstgeschichte/Indologie an der Universität und Medienkunst an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig.

 

Neben zahlreichen Ausstellungen und künstlerischen Projekten, beteiligte er sich in der studentischen Selbstorganisation und war nach Melonenträger, Zeitungsausträger, Systemgastronom, Behindertenpfleger, Nachtwärter, Lagerarbeiter und wissenschaftlicher Hochschulmitarbeiter bis 2016 in Leipzig als Dozent, Kurator und Verleger tätig. 2016 bis 2017 unterrichtete er Ethik und Kunst an einer Dresdener Mittelschule. Anschließend erprobte er sich in einem Fortgang durch das Land mit Hund, Rad und Sack.

Überblick

 

In seiner philosophischen Magisterarbeit "Beschreibung einer Parabel" befragte er 2011 den Zusammenhang universeller Epistemologie und Alltagsfragen; die cineastisch realisierte Diplomarbeit "dis play er" kreiste 2015 um spielerische Selbstbehauptungsstrategien zeitgenössischer Kunst. Magisterarbeit / Diplom

 

Zu den editorischen Schwerpunkten der edition utopmania zählen Dokumentationen und Kataloge, Künstlerbücher und Kleinstauflagen sowie Erprobungen in grafischen Produkten. Wissenschaftliche und künstlerische Schwerpunkte liegen in der spielerischen Befragung des Mediums, der Einbeziehung zirkulärer und/oder selbstreferenzieller und chaotischer/aleatorischer Systeme, Verbindungen zwischen Bild und Text sowie dem autonom-bewegten Bild in seiner Eigenständigkeit und post-narrativen Selbstverwirklichung. Schwerpunkte

 

Momentan beschäftigt er sich literarisch mit Identität mit Mitteln des Tons und der Sprache. Zwischenzeitlich versucht er seine Seele höchstbietend zu verkaufen. Aktuell
